With data skills in high demand, the search for data talent can be time-consuming and costly.
At Rockborne, we help companies fill their data skills gap by connecting them with in-house trained data professionals. We work on an attract, train, and deploy (ATD) model, which means we:
ATTRACT promising and diverse talent from a range of backgrounds and hire them as Rockborne consultants.
TRAIN them through our custom 12-week data training programme, which teaches technical data skills, along with the application of those skills to real-world scenarios, as well as communication skills and business acumen.
DEPLOY our in-house trained consultants to businesses in need of data talent.
Our training team is made up of highly specialised trainers and data coaches with decades of experience, not just in the practical application of data, analytics and AI, but also in “soft” skills like presenting and communication.

Our candidates start by entering a 4-week, free, remote* online training programme focusing on Excel, SQL, PowerBI and public speaking.
If offered a place on our training programme, our candidates are entered into 8 weeks of classroom-based training at our state-of-the-art facility in Wimbledon.
A period of up to 3 months – our candidates focus on continued upskilling with real-world projects and certifications across data. We will be working with our existing clients to assign them to a placement during this time.
Assignments typically last 6-20 months, where our candidates are assigned to one of our clients as a data consultant where they’ll continue to receive ongoing support and training plans from Rockborne. Candidates are placed back onto Advance in between assignments.
Following successful assignments and high-quality results in our training programmes, our candidates will have completed our 2-year graduate programme and become a Rockborne Alumni!
